Governance Structure

Our Trust is supported by Members and Trustees. Members are responsible for holding our Trustees to account for the successful governance of the Trust and furthering the Trust’s charitable objects. Our Trustees are responsible for ensuring clarity of vision, ethos, and strategic direction. Additionally, they hold our executive leaders to account for the educational performance of the organisation and our students, together with the effective and efficient performance management of our staff. Our Trustees are also responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the Trust and making sure it is money well spent.

The Trust does not use local governing bodies, it has in place scrutiny committees. The scrutiny committees are chaired and led by Trustees with expertise and specialist knowledge in the area of the committee.
